Ellie Bears are made from finest quality German mohair or from slightly coarser thicker English mohair. I only use top quality English shiny black button eyes and soft polyester fibre filling. Plastic pellets give my bears a soft and scrunchy feel whilst steel shot gives the bears a nice weight. All my bears are "lead-free" so I do not use buckshot or divers weights. All bear pads are made from genuine suede and the claws are hand stitched. Each of my bears has a distinctive "E" for EllieBears embroidered on the right foot to show it is a genuine "EllieBear". All Ellie Bears are only supplied in Limited Editions, usually no more than ten bears per Edition. Each bear is delivered with its very own Certificate of Authenticity. This shows the bear's serial number and the total number in the series. If you would like to know the next number for a bear in any series please email me.
